Sunday, August 23rd, 2009

The Arkansas-Oklahoma Chapter met on Sunday, August 23, in the home of members Mark and Arlene Cain in Oklahoma City. The Cains served a very nice brunch which included bagels and lox. We then watched the European G.P. held this year on a street course in Valencia, Spain. At least Kimi took third place in this one: a bright spot in an otherwise dismal season for Ferrari.

Toly Arutunoff Booksigning – May 3, 2009

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009

On Sunday, May 3, the Arkansas-Oklahoma Chapter met at The Brasserie restaurant in Tulsa. We partook of some excellent cuisine at the restaurant then sat back and were regaled with some wonderful stories read by Toly from his new book, One Off, about growing up in northeast Oklahoma and racing and driving all over the world. Toly also ad libbed several stories that were not in the book. After brunch and the readings, Toly signed books for just about everyone at the event. A good turnout.

On Sunday, February 22, the Arkansas-Oklahoma Chapter met at Tom Treue and Judy Boswell’s home in McAlester to celebrate Enzo Ferrari’s birthday. Peter and Raquel Johantgen and their two granddaughters drove all the way from El Reno. Bruce and Paula Bartovick drove the Testarossa from Tulsa. A number of Tom and Judy’s friends came from the McAlester area. Lunch was catered by Rosanna’s Italian Restaurant in nearby Krebs. Enough door prizes were handed out that every family came away with one. A good time was had by all.
